I know a guy who takes care of red pandas at my local zoo. Those things are just too cute. :) I like the way the light is shining behind the fur.

I think the lighting here is great, even that part has a sleepy feel to it, and the colors all came out wonderful. The composition is Very well done, very balanced, and the foreshortening makes this a very strong image. I'm going to +fav this not because it's a red panda, but because I think it has a lot of good qualities in it. :)

wow, i'm glad you like it so much (and herei am not knowing what foreshortening actually is) the sleepy atmosphere was (i think) caused by the continuous, yet very thin overcast of clouds. this made the sky completely white and dull, while the light coming through the clouds was still very bright.

I like it when the sky is like that, it's great for strong lighting that isn't glaring. Foreshortening is how things that are closer look bigger and further away look smaller, like if you held your hand near your face it'd look big but when you hold it with your arm stretched out it doesn't fill as much of your vision. I like how the branch here does that some, because it gives the photo a sense of depth. :)
