A view of the nave of the collegiate church of st Jacob in Liège, Belgium.

Although the west side of the church is an ancient romanesque structure, the main body of the church is a late gothic building. Construction started in the early 15th century and the work was finally finished in 1538 CE, in a style that was a mixture of late gothic and early renaissance. Notable are the richly decorated walls, the renaissance organ cabinet (dating from around 1600 CE) and the spectacular vaulting with its polychrome paintings.

I prefer the real thing a forest or wood, to walk under the boughs of ancient trees, to commune with the Mother. It's far, far better than being inside a structure who's owners only wanted power over their people. The money & lives that were lost in the construction of these buildings at a time when there was still servitude is ungodly. But then, even the Nazarine would have thrown a blue fit had He been around.
